St. Peter's Church Slinfold

The Street, Slinfold, W. Sussex, RH13 0RR

We are a friendly family church that loves and accepts everyone. It doesn't matter how young or old you are - if you are a doubter, enquirer or even a saint - no matter who you are, no matter where you are on life's journey, you are welcome here.
All are welcome to come to the church either to attend a service or just to find a quiet haven of contemplation. The church is normally open every day between 9am and 4pm.
In all that we do, our aim is simple: to share God's love and do his work in this community.

Covid update

We are pleased to be able to tell you that the church will still be open for private worship. Please Note - Times are limited to Sundays from 12.30pm to 4pm and Thursdays 9am to 12.30pm. There will be restrictions in place, which we ask you to follow, particularly with regard to social distancing & use of the hand sanitiser.
As we did during the previous lockdown we will be publishing a "Good News Sheet" each week. Find it here

Covid update 2

We are also happy to say that, since we will be in Tier 2 from December 2nd until at least 16th, the church will be holding regular Worship Services. Here is a provisional list of services, which may be altered again, depending on circumstances. Hand sanitising & social distancing measures will be in place, and others as appropriate. Please co-operate with instructions.
We can provide a pewsheet and a copy of the sermon for those who are still shielding or unable to get to church. Ask Rev. Sandra

Shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child

St Peter's will be supporting this charity again this year. Please deliver filled shoeboxes to the church on Thursdays and Sundays, up to and including Thursday, 10th December. Empty shoeboxes and leaflets detailing suitable donations are available in St Peter's. An alternative is to pack a shoebox online or give a donation; 'Operation Christmas Child' Further details from Gill Collier-Morgan 791241.

Toys for onward distribution to needy children of the Horsham area by The Salvation Army, may be brought to the churches by the 29th November. Toys should be new, unwrapped but placed in bags, with labels to indicate whether for a boy or a girl, and the age group of the intended recipient. Amazon gift vouchers are suggested as an alternative for teenagers, if you prefer. Further details from Gill Collier-Morgan 791241.
